The Prosport stainless steel O2 sensor spacer is a simple and effective way to extend your O2 sensor away from direct exhaust flow, these are often required for cars with catalytic converters that have been removed for performance gains. Normally once a catalytic converter has been removed the post cat O2 sensor picks up on this and illuminates a CEL warning light on the dash. By taking the sensor out of direct exhaust flow the sensor takes a weaker reading which fools the ECU into thinking the catalytic converter is still there, normally resulting in no warning light being generated.
    
This is very simple to install and can be fitted in less than 5 minutes, so perfect for both novice and professional installation. As with any O2 extension there is no guarantee to eliminate CEL warning lights due to differences in sensitivity and reasons for warning lights, so this is being sold solely as a sensor spacer/extension.
